Current Responsibilities
Jim Jetland has been involved in commercial real estate since 1985. His career focus has been on office sales and leasing where he has represented a variety of tenants, including General Mills, Inc., Nike, Compuware Corporation and AT&T. In addition, Jim has represented numerous landlords, including Teachers Insurance & Annuity, Prudential, Travelers Insurance and State Farm Insurance. During his career, Jim has completed more than 700 leases totaling over six million square feet.

Past Experience
Before joining NorthMarq, Jim was a senior broker with Koll Real Estate, formerly The Shelard Group, where he consistently ranked among their top producers.

Professional and Community Involvement
Jim was named the Twin Cities “Broker of the Year” in 2007 by the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors. He is an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and Minnesota Commercial Association of REALTORS (MNCAR), and is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

Education
Jim is a 1982 graduate of the University of Minnesota. While at the university, he was a goalie on the hockey team and a member of the national championship team in 1979.
