Current Responsibilities
Jon Rausch is a southern Minnesota native who joined NorthMarq in March 1998. Jon has received the Offshore Club award from 2003-2009 in recognition of his outstanding performance during the year. Jon has specialized in land acquisition/disposition over the past several years of his career. He has a unique understanding of the transaction process and a rare ability to produce results for his clients.

Past Experience
After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Whitman College in Washington, Jon earned a master’s degree in business with a concentration in venture management from the University of St. Thomas.

Professional and Community Involvement
Jon is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and was selected to be a presenter at its Annual Industrial Update in 2000 and 2007. NAIOP asked Jon to give a market update on land which has not been done before. Jon currently holds the SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) designation. This designation is based on performance and ethical conduct in the members professional career. Jon also holds the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, which is a designation earned after completing several rigorous courses and meeting performance requirements.

Jon enjoys outdoor activities, skiing, coaching soccer, T-ball and hockey, supporting the Diabetes Association, Camp Fire USA and any activity with his family. From 1985-1991 Jon was one of the top ranked alpine ski racers in the country for his age.

Education
