Current Responsibilities
Todd Hanson joined NorthMarq in 1997 and is a senior vice president and team leader specializing on the sale and leasing of industrial properties in the Minneapolis, St. Paul North and Northeast markets of the Twin Cities.
Todd leads the Northeast Industrial Team, which has established itself as the top industrial sales and leasing team in the market. His team’s transaction volume averages more than 850,000 sq. ft. and more than 30 million in total consideration annually. Their current portfolio includes more than 4 million square feet of property. He has worked with many major owners and developers including: Capri/Capital Advisors, Cornerstone Realty Advisors, RREEF, Wellington Management, MBY, O.I.R.E. JLT, First Industrial, The Bristol Group and Cobalt Capital Partners.
Todd has been a consistent winner of the Offshore Club Award in recognition of his outstanding performance. He also received the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors Industrial Transaction of the Year in 2002 and was a finalist in 2007.
Past Experience
Before joining NorthMarq, Todd spent seven years at Koll Real Estate Services (formerly The Shelard Group), where he was a senior associate. He also worked at R.L. Johnson Investment Company, a Twin Cities commercial real estate developer and owner, marketing their 6-million-sq.-ft. portfolio of industrial and commercial buildings throughout the Twin Cities.
Professional and Community Involvement
Todd is an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR) and is a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Membership (CCIM) program and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
Education
He is a graduate of St. Cloud State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing.
