Current Responsibilities
As the senior vice president and senior managing director of NorthMarq’s western region investment sales practice, Mario specializes in industrial and office investment sales in Southern California. With more than 30 years working in commercial real estate, he has an extensive track record of negotiation and representation for corporations and investors in the disposition and acquisition of industrial and commercial properties.

Past Experience
Mario was the founding principal of Commerce CRE, where he was an investment sales professional and a real estate consultant for several well-known global companies. Prior to Commerce CRE, he was a senior vice president and international real estate portfolio manager at Trammel Crow Company providing transaction management services to Fortune 500 companies. He also spent more than 10 years at Cushman & Wakefield specializing in acquisition and disposition industrial and office properties. Over the course of his career, Mario has represented real estate transactions in 28 of the 50 states and several countries including Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Mexico Switzerland and France.

Professional and Community Involvement
Mario has been an active member of the Industrial Real Estate Association (AIR) since 1984. He is also a past member of the Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR), and a current member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), CoreNet Global and Urban Land Institute. He also volunteers in his local community and church.
