Current Responsibilities
Andy Sundgaard’s primary responsibilities are securing new business and maintaining client relationships for NorthMarq Real Estate Services. In this capacity, Andy maintains contact with NorthMarq’s customers and prospects. He also assists with strategic acquisitions.

Since taking a leadership role in business development, NorthMarq’s Property Management business has grown from 25 million to 60 million sq. ft. and from a single market to 22 markets across the United States.

Andy also leads NorthMarq’s Special Assets Services group, which works with clients requiring services that revolve around financially troubled properties.

Past Experience
Before joining United Properties, the predecessor to NorthMarq, Andy was a senior vice president with CB Richard Ellis/Koll. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s Twin Cities east metro office, which managed a portfolio of more than 5 million sq. ft. for several institutional clients.

Professional and Community Involvement
Andy is the past president of the Minnesota Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He has served on the Board of Directors of the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, the St. Paul Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the St. Croix Catholic School.

Andy has appeared on several panels and is a frequent speaker at events for organizations such as BOMA, IREM and NAIOP.

Education
He attended St. Cloud State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in real estate finance.
