Current Responsibilities
Eric Bjelland joined NorthMarq in 1993 and has more than 20 years experience in selling retail and net lease investment properties. He has been involved in more than 100 transactions comprising over seven million square feet and $1 billion dollars in value. He has sold both institutional-quality properties and “value-added” assets. Some of Eric’s repeat institutional clients include American Realty Advisors, Invesco Realty Advisors, Prudential Insurance Company, The Estate of James Campell, TA Associates Realty and RREEF Funds.
Professional and Community Involvement
Eric has been involved in all aspects of real estate investment. He serves as an officer of three L.L.C.s that own retail assets valued at more than $15 million. He is a former board member and current treasurer of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA). Eric has been the featured speaker on the investment market at the annual MSCA Research Symposium each year since 1993 and is a contributing speaker for NAIOP and CCIM.
Eric is an active member of his church, serves in a leadership capacity for his local school, Boy Scouts council and political precinct, and participates in fundraising for the ALS Minnesota Chapter.
Education
Eric graduated from DePauw University in 1988.
