Current Responsibilities
Ronn Thomas joined the NorthMarq Retail Brokerage group in 2002, specializing in tenant representation and the sale/leasing of retail and hospitality properties in the Twin Cities and out state markets of Minnesota.  He received the NorthMarq “Rising Star” Award in 2003 as an exceptional up-and-comer in the brokerage business as well as MNCAR’s 2004 “Retail Transaction of the Year."

Ronn is currently providing Tenant representation to Payless Shoes, Rue 21, Party City, Catherines, Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, True Value, CiCi's Pizza and Casual Male, among others.  Ronn also represents owners and developers on the leasing, disposition and development of their property.  A partial list of Landlord’s that Ronn represents include Invesco, RREEF, Prudential, TIAA-CREF, United Properties and the Avalon Group.

Past Experience
Before joining NorthMarq, Ronn was a Boeing 727 captain for Sun Country Airlines where he was selected to be an instructor and a check airman.  Prior to working for Sun Country Airlines, he was an associate at Commercial Leasing Services in Rochester, Minn.

Professional and Community Involvement
Ronn is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA) and the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR).  He is currently pursuing a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

Education
Ronn earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing and financial management from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
