Current Responsibilities
Jen Helm is a senior retail associate providing market research, tenant and landlord representation for the Twin Cities’ market. Jen joined NorthMarq in 2001 specializing in hospitality, tenant representation and sale and leasing of retail and hotel properties in the Twin Cities and out-state Minnesota.

Jen has been involved with tenant services for Office Depot, Old Chicago, Rock Bottom Restaurants, Pep Boys, Fuddruckers, CiCi’s Pizza, Casual Male, The Avenue, Raising Canes, Primrose Preschools and other national retailers. She also represents owners/developers such as OPUS, INVESCO, United Properties, RREEF, the Avalon Group and other developers on the disposition, leasing and development of property.

Past Experience
Before transitioning into retail, Jen provided market research to the Southeast Industrial Team and the St. Paul Office Team and tenant and landlord representation in the Minneapolis CBD office market.

Professional and Community Involvement
Jen is a member of the Minneapolis Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Minnesota Lodging Association (MLA) and ChainLinks Retail Advisors. She has served as a co-chair of the MSCA Research Committee for two years and chair of the MSCA/MNCAR Retail Data Committee.

Jen earned the 2009 Five Star Best in Client Satisfaction Award and is also a recipient of the CoStar Power Broker Award. She is currently pursuing a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

Education
Jen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in real estate finance from the University of St. Thomas.
