Current Responsibilities
Kris Smeltzer joined NorthMarq in 2002 specializing in industrial sales, leasing, and tenant rep in the Southwest Twin Cities metropolitan area. Kris uses his in-depth knowledge of the Southwest industrial market to help guide his clients throughout the transaction process. Kris applies his outstanding work ethic and dedication into every deal he works on, which has led to such awards as the 2004 Rising Star award. He also received the company's prestigious Offshore Club award from 2006-2008 in recognition of his outstanding performance during the year.

Professional and Community Involvement
Kris is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), Big 10 Speakers and the St. Cloud State University Real Estate Alumni Association.

Education
Kris attended St. Cloud State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in real estate finance and investment. He was a member of the university's football team from 1996-2000
