Current Responsibilities
John McCarthy joined NorthMarq in 1995, focusing primarily on office leasing and tenant representation.

Throughout his career, John has completed over 1,600 leasing transactions involving more than 7 million square feet of office space and has been involved in a variety of commercial property acquisition and disposition projects. He ranked among the highest producers in the Brokerage Division every year from 1996 to 2009.

Professional and Community Involvement
John is a recent past president of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors and serves on the Boards of Directors for the Minnesota Commercial Property Exchange. He is also an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Real Financial Center in Edina.

Education
John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in real estate finance from St. Cloud State University and remains active in its alumni organization.
