Current Responsibilities
As a senior advisor, Josh O’Neill provides real estate advisory services to corporate clients to improve their business performance through real estate.

Josh focuses on strategic planning, lease negotiations, portfolio management, tenant representation and property sales throughout North America. He serves as a strategic advisor to mid-size to large companies helping them align their real estate portfolio with their comprehensive business plan. He accomplishes this through building sustainable relationships with his clients and understanding their business drivers. He has completed transactions and advisory assignments in 37 states and six Canadian provinces.

Past Experience
Before joining NorthMarq's predecessor, United Properties, Josh spent several years in the banking and finance industry working in management roles at Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union and Wells Fargo. In these roles he focused on debt financing, business development, risk management and corporate strategy. He also has experience a business owner and managing partner of a real estate investment and property management company.

Professional and Community Involvement
Josh is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Minnesota. In addition, he is a member of the CoreNet Global, International Council of Shopping Centers, the National Association of Realtors and the U.S. Green Building Council Mississippi Headwaters Chapter. Josh holds the designation of Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) through CoreNet Global. He is a member of the board of directors at the St. Paul Neighborhood Network.

Education
Josh earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing management with a minor in sociology from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. He has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School in Cambridge, Mass., in real estate management and global economics and is pursuing his MBA at the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.
