Current Responsibilities
As a senior associate, Chris Garcia focuses on the industrial real estate in the northwest Twin Cities market. He has been with NorthMarq since 2002.

Chris currently lists more than two million square feet of property for sale and lease in the west metro. He has sold more than 25 buildings with a value of over $63 million since 2004. His clients include Great Point Investors, Baceline Investments, Ryan Companies and RREEF North America.

In 2007 Chris was honored with the Industrial Transaction of the Year award from the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors for representing Morgan Stanley in a 330,000-sq.-ft. lease to Walgreens. The same year, he was named a “Power Broker” by the CoStar Group. In 2008 Chris was named to NorthMarq’s Offshore Club, an honor given to the company’s top producers.

Professional and Community Involvement
Chris served as the northwest submarket expert at the 2006 NAIOP Industrial Update, presenting to more than 500 members of NAIOP.

Education
He attended New Mexico State and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the College of Business Administration and Economics.
